After the launch of the first two WorldView Legion satellites, Maxar plans to launch the second two WorldView Legion satellites in about three to six months time.

Maxar plans to launch WorldView Legion satellites in September 2021

The first two WorldView Legion satellites by Maxar are set to launch in September 2021 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. As shared by Dan Jablonsky, President and CEO, Maxar, the company is making progress on the integration, assembly and test of all six spacecraft and instruments. It expects to go into environmental testing early next year.

Maxar had initially planned the launch of the satellites to take place in the first quarter of 2021, however, things got delayed due to the pandemic. After the launch of the first two WorldView Legion satellites, Maxar plans to launch the second two WorldView Legion satellites in about three to six months time.
